Ordering & Delivery

Are there shipping costs?
Orders above 50 euros are shipped for free. For orders under 50 euros, a shipping fee of 4.95 euros applies.

What is the delivery time for my order?
Orders placed Monday to Friday before 14:00 PM will be shipped the same business day. Placed an order over the weekend? Then your order will be shipped the following business day! Delivery times for orders outside the Netherlands vary but are generally 1-3 business days. Click here for more ordering information.

How do I place an order?

Can I cancel an order?
If your package has not entered the shipping process, the order can be canceled free of charge. To check if cancellation is possible, contact our customer service during office hours. Unfortunately, this is not possible during weekends. Once the package is in the shipping process, cancellation is no longer possible.

I didn’t receive an order confirmation. What should you do?
It can take a few minutes for the confirmation to arrive. It may also go directly to your 'spam' or junk folder. Please check there as well.
If you still haven't received it, it could be due to an incorrect email address. This does not affect the shipment of your items. Once your payment is successfully completed, your order has been received correctly. If you’re still unsure, feel free to contact us.

To which countries can my package be shipped?
We ship to the following countries:
  • Netherlands
  • Belgium
  • Germany
Are there costs associated with returning items?
Returning a package is at your own expense. In the case of a legitimate warranty claim or if your order arrives damaged, we will cover the costs. Please contact customer service for more details.

How do I return an item?
Register your return through our return portal. You will need your order number and the email address used to place the order.

Note! Always include the packing slip in the return, as we need this information to process your return quickly and correctly.

How will my return be refunded?
Refunds are processed in the same payment method as your order. If you paid with iDeal, Bancontact, or another bank transfer, we will refund your bank account. Payments by credit card are refunded to your credit card, and payments via PayPal are refunded to your PayPal account.

Within what timeframe can I return an item?
Items can be returned up to 45 days after purchase.

Can I exchange an order?
Exchanges are not possible. If you want a different size or item, please return your current order and place a new order.

What payment methods are available?
We offer various international and local payment methods:
  • Credit cards: Visa or Mastercard
  • PayPal
  • iDeal (for Dutch customers)
  • Bancontact/Mister Cash (for Belgian customers)
  • Riverty – Pay later for consumers (NL/BE)
Can I pay later?
Riverty offers a pay-later option with no additional fees.

Where can I submit a complaint?
Depending on where you bought your shoes, the next steps differ.

Maruti purchase from a retail store
In this case, the store where you purchased the shoes is your first point of contact. Be sure to have proof of purchase, like a receipt. The store will then assess your complaint and discuss a possible solution with you.

Purchase from our official Maruti webshop
If you purchased your shoes via our official webshop, contact our customer service by email. Include the order number and photos to explain your complaint clearly. You can also reach us by phone on weekdays between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM at +31[0] 495 85 10 20.

What is the warranty period?
All purchases come with a statutory warranty. We offer a warranty period of 6 months after purchase. This means the product should meet what a consumer can reasonably expect. If it does not, contact our Customer Service at questions@marutifootwear.com.

How to take care of your hairon Maruti's?
Maruti’s are produced using the finest quality leathers. Each pair is individually hand finished, giving your shoes a unique look and feel.

Some Maruti shoes are (partially) made of cow hair-on leather. This material is delicate of nature and while we take great care in selecting the best materials for you it is inevitable that slight variations in color and hair loss can occur eventually.

How to take care of (hair-on) leather shoes:
  • Do not wear them in wet conditions.
  • Prevent the hair on leather rubbing other surfaces or pieces of clothing; this will result in hair loss.
  • You can wipe hair on leather carefully in the direction of the hair with a damp cloth. Do not soak.
  • Be careful. Colored hair on leather pigment may transfer onto lighter materials when wet.
  • The best maintenance for longevity is achieved by spraying with a waterproof spray upon receipt.
  • And really important… Enjoy them!
How to take care of your leather Maruti's?
Maruti’s are produced using the finest quality leathers. Each pair is individually hand finished, giving your shoes a unique look and feel.

How to take care of our leather shoes:
  • Polish them regularly.
  • Remove any dirt or dust with a cloth or soft brush.
  • Use a cream based polish rather than liquid based.
  • Avoid contact with water as much as possible.
  • Dry wet shoes naturally in a well ventilated space (not in direct sunlight or next to a heater).
  • Try to change your shoes on a daily basis so the leather can air and rest.
  • And really important… Enjoy them!
